Science Fair

So This year Shaylee and Braden entered their school science fair. They wanted to learn about germs.

Shaylee found out that Colgate toothpast kills the most germs and Listerine mouth wash works really well too. She took 2nd place over all grades K- 5th this was great but Braden got a 1st place ribbon. Braden took 1st place in the 2nd grade for finding wear the most germs are in our house the light switch going out to the garage grew the most germs. yuk!! I have since cleaned all the light switches around the house.

So I was very pleased with how they both did. But shaylee was not so happy she did not care that she placed higher than her brother she just wanted a blue ribbon like him.

We just cant Please everyone.

Basketball

Basketball has been over for a few weeks now but I wanted to put some pitchers up of my boys. It was a fun season, now on to spring soccer and baseball.

The most Magical Christmas

This was one of the most magical Christmas mornings I remember. Santa brought our family a sweet little puppy. The kids came down stairs and the dog ran right to them. Shaylee said come hear TWIX and he went to her, the name has stuck. Braden is the one who asked Santa for a puppy it was the sweetest thing. He would not tell me what he wanted, he waited till he could sit on Santa's lap and then with a grin on his face he said Santa I would really like a puppy. The big man came through. We think our Puppy is so cute and he has such a good personality he seams to fit in the family just fine.

Festival Of Trees a 10 year Family Tradition

We have been going to the Festival of Trees for the last 10 years, I take the kids it is a fun event for us . This year Shaylee preformed with her dance group Show case USA. She did a great job and it was so fun to have some of our cousins there with us.

Halloween 2009

This was the year of multiple costumes, my boys changed what they wanted to be at least 2 times. Just some fun pitchers from the holiday. Connor 6th Birthday

Connor is the bravest 6 year old I know. He had a Scales and Tells birthday party and he loved every minute. He was born on Halloween and loves reptiles which is kind of fitting. It was a great party. I had to over come my fears when he said mom you should hold a snake.

This is Connor with 4 snakes wrapped around him he was so happy. And loved it when the yellow snake tried to lick his face.
